1. Information We Collect
VidGrab does not require registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. When you use our service, our servers temporarily process the URL you submit in order to fulfil your request; this URL is not stored after processing completes.
2. Log Data
Like most web services, our servers automatically record standard HTTP log data (IP address, browser type, referring page, date/time stamp). These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes, then permanently deleted.
3. Cookies
VidGrab does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. A minimal session cookie may be set by your browser to maintain connection state; it contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser.
4. Third-Party Services
We use yt-dlp, an open-source command-line tool, to extract video metadata and download links. No video data passes through our servers—download links point directly to the content provider's CDN.
5. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of VideGrab after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
